Abandoned Barn- photography
Abandoned Barn- photography
Coming down a country road, there it was…statuesque and dignified in its disrepair.
A large barn, beckoning…..come notice me, there are lots of memories to share with you. This large farm, which housed animals and tools and life was imperative to life.
A generation removed, it stands empty. Handwriting on the wall, tallying the figures of the business.
I wonder, does anyone come visit whose loved ones did the work of this life?
Are the fields farmed by corporations now, or hopefully by another family who still earns a proud and appreciated career as a farmer?
My friends Lisa and Sandy had their cameras as well, so this was a special time of friends and photography!
***IMPORTANT: Most places prohibit trespassing, for legal reasons. For SAFETY reasons. Zoom lenses are critical. I urge you to gain permission before photographing places of ruin. The floors, walls and ceilings might be unstable. There could be dangerous chemicals, depending on the facility. You might not be alone, and in danger.
