Colorado- Photography
If you read the last post, you are ready to hit the virtual road with us to Colorado!
We pursued a well-lived life by going way out of our (my) comfort zone, hiking ancient cliff dwellings, and archaeological sites of peoples who disappeared around 1300 A.D.
That’ll come tomorrow. You’ll be amazed at the homes and lifestyle of the mysterious Pueblo Indians.
But today, a visual tour, as you enter Mesa Verde National Park. Elevations range from about 6,000-8,500 feet. Ascending, you would never even know how drastically the landscape will soon change.
As we drove along the top loop, imagine my surprise to see horses grazing. No fences…
Summer in Colorado can mean fierce storms coming in quickly.
One side of a valley can be bright and sunny, but ominous lightning-filled clouds can be right behind you. Forest fires leave behind grim reminders to frame out the view…
